West Indies won against United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 6 wickets

West Indies has finished the group stage of the world cup in style and in dominance. Once they were known as one of the best team of the world but things have changed and in this world cup they struggled to get anything positive in 1st 2 matches. But they stood back and got their 3rd win in the group stage which has taken them to the quarter Final of world cup cricket 2015. Ireland, if wins their match against Pakistan then however things could have been different considering the run rate of the Pakistani’s. But that is not happening as Pakistan is almost at the door to a win against Ireland and thus West Indies is moving to the quarter finals as the 4th team of pool B and they will be meeting New Zealand in the quarter final. The match started with pure dominance with the ball as the West Indies bowlers took 6 wickets before UAE could get to their 50 runs. But from that point, 2 inspiring half century from 2 tellenders got UAE a good score on the board. With 175 on the board and 176 as target, UAE could hope to put a fight which they failed to do so. Aziz scored 60 and Javed scored 56 for UAE. Holder took 4 wickets in this match.



West Indies didn’t take long to get the victory. they got the win by 30.3 overs with the loss of 4 wickets. Charles scored a blazing 55 from 40 balls and got a good start for the tea. After loosing 2 quick wickets Charles and Carter added 56 run on 3rd wicket. Even though Charles got out, Carter got back after ensuring the victory for the team and he scored a unbeaten 50 in this match. With this West Indies has 6 points from 3 wins in their 6 group matches. Guruge took 2 wickets for UAE.
