Chennai Super kings, the mightiest team of this seasons IPL is ready fighting for the final spot at the Final. Chennai Super Kings had an excellent season this year. They were dominating most of their matches and they looked like they are here to win. After the 14 matches of group stage, they were at the top of the table with 18 points from 9 wins while they only lost 4 matches. their opponent for the first qualifier to the Final was Mumbai. However they could not get past the 2nd ranked team as they lost that match by 25 runs. they can say that 2 of the decisions went against them which could have gone on their favor but in the end the result matters and they wouldn’t win. However, as the top 2 teas, they are about to get their 2nd chance and this time they have to take down Bangalore to get to the final where Mumbai is waiting. They already defeated Bangalore twice this season and that is why they are the favorites. if the bat first then they will look for 200 or close to that total and if they bowl first the they would like to restrict their opponents to 170-180 runs. If they can do that then their chances of winning will increase a lot.
Bangalore can blame there misfortune this season. They lost 5 matches just like Chennai but 2 of their matches were canceled and that left them with 7 wins after the end of 14 group matches. but, their run rate was higher than even Chennai and that shows how devastating their batting lineup truly is. With 2 of their batsmen at the top 5 run scorer, they really are a good team. they also have 2 bowlers at the top wicket takers list. Thus it will not be wise to underestimate their bowlers. they are coming to this match after destroying Rajasthan Royals in the 1st eliminator match. They are confident and they know that its time they get one win back from Chennai. If they bat first then they will hope for 210+ score as they already reached 200+ score twice this season. If they bowl first then 170 would be their optimum target. but, no matter how good they are, they will be playing this match as the underdogs.
